NikSoft Awarded CV-22 Support: V-22 Joint Program Office 
(NAVAIR PMA-275/AFLCMC/WIV)

July 20, 2016: NikSoft Systems, Reston, VA was awarded the NAVAIR CV-22 Support: V-22 Joint Program Office (PMA-275/AFLCMC/WIV) Task Order to support a range of professional services to include program/project management, acquisition, cyber security, security management and studies and analysis support for a period of 5 years.  The V-22 is a Navy-led ACAT IC program designed for the procurement of tilt-rotor aircraft. The V-22 Osprey is a dual-piloted, self-deployable, medium-lift aircraft for Joint and Foreign Military Sales application. The Air Force variant, CV-22 (AFLCMC/WIV) provide SOF with a high speed, long-range, Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) aircraft capable of penetrating politically or militarily denied areas in adverse weather in support of Special Operations core and supporting tasks. The CV-22 is capable of low-visibility, clandestine penetration of medium threat environments, employing robust self-defensive avionics and secure, anti-jam, redundant communications interoperable with current and planned systems used by command and control agencies and ground forces. To the maximum extent possible, it will self-deploy worldwide without aerial refueling in order to maximize mission security. CV-22 has an un-refueled combat range sufficient to satisfy current and emergent Major Combat Operations (MCO) scenarios as well as national mission tasking. The support will be performed at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Patuxent River, Maryland.  The task order was competed under the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services (EPASS) GSA One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services – Small Business (OASIS SB) Pool 1.
